Patient Returns to Farming Following a Stroke

In early April 2023, Billy came to Rehab Without Walls for outpatient therapy following a stroke and subsequent inpatient rehab stay. He initially presented with decreased left sided attention, left sided weakness, and cognitive deficits. Billy attended therapy for six months seeing physical, occupational, and speech therapists. His biggest goal when starting therapy was returning to driving his tractor. He worked very hard towards his goals of returning to work as a part time farmer and returning to driving. In October 2023, he passed his road driving test and has since been discharged from Rehab Without Walls. Congratulations Billy!
