Kay Wing

Dr. Kay Wing had a dream for a better quality of life for those with neurological disorders. As a child, Dr. Wing had the painful experience of watching her beloved grandfather lose normal function following a stroke. She devoted her educational and professional endeavors to serving the needs of those with neurological disorders, becoming an invited guest lecturer and educator on both the national and international circuit. In 2003, Dr. Wing founded Southwest Advanced Neurological Rehabilitation which soon became known simply as SWAN Rehab. Her vision, innovation, and heart helped to mold one of the best neurological rehabilitation programs in Arizona which has provided care, strength and hope to thousands of patients.
In 2017, Dr. Wing decided it was time to take a step back personally and retire. While ready to take on new things in her own life, she wanted SWAN to continue on with a team who had the same vision for a better life for those with neurological injuries and deficits. In meeting with the team at Rehab Without Walls, as well as knowing their existing reputation throughout the Phoenix area, she knew that they were just the fit she was looking for. SWAN became part of the RWW family in 2018. We at Rehab Without Walls, have all been honored to add SWAN to our care continuum and carry to on Dr. Wing’s vision and legacy.
