Meet Pete! Pete came into our program needing help. This is what Pete had to say about his time with us.
“Thank you so much for all the help and stability. I couldn’t have made it through all of that mess without you all. I am a different human being now compared to December. I’m still having a fair amount of struggles but you all gave me the tools to cope with it and get through the hardships in a therapeutic and self-sustaining manner. The hardships include physical ailments, emotional regulations, cognitive deficits, and more.”
“The family meetings are going to be missed dearly. It was a great experience to recap the month’s progress and celebrate accordingly, as a team. You all are very special to me and will always have a place in my heart. It’s hard to show and tell the level of appreciation I feel, so I will reference Amelia’s charm and love she showed each one of you. I feel the same, plus more, but it would be odd if I was trying to snuggle, cuddle, and give kisses!”
“Also, you all helped me acknowledge my limitations, accept them, and be kind to myself. Thank you all and I wish you all the best!”
“I am a bundle of emotion with this. Happy. Sad. Thankful. Scared. Proud. Nervous. Alone. Did I say thankful? All that and more!” states Pete, Current RWW Patient.
Pete’s RWW therapy team consisted of:
• Occupational Therapy with Madison Moore, OT
• Speech Therapy with Alla Johnson, SLP
• Physical Therapy with Katie Palano, PT, and Sue Gagner, PTA
• Alyse Footer as his Clinical Coordinator
