We offer ongoing comprehensive therapy services for children and young adults, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our multi-disciplinary team uses a collaborative approach to develop individualized treatment plans addressing specific injuries, limitations and delays. We work closely with families to provide individualized home programs and promote generalization of skills learned in therapy.
Intensive therapy consists of customized three—four-week multidisciplinary therapy programs. Each program is designed to improve function during critical periods of development or rehabilitation. This program is based on the TheraSuit Method developed in Poland.
Daily activity utilizing the Universal Exercise Unit, the “Spider Cage” and the TheraSuit allows a child to make exceptional gains in a short period of time. The TheraSuit is a soft dynamic body orthotic that is designed to improve proprioception, reduce pathological reflexes, and improve movement patterns. The suit components are attached by bungee type bands to correctly align the body and perform resistance as movements are performed.
At Rehab Without Walls®, we provide comprehensive therapy services that make a real difference in day-to-day life for children from infancy to young adulthood. Whether delivered in our renowned outpatient centers or the child’s home, our approach is the same: developing an individualized treatment plan and encouraging family participation.
Our team of physical therapists use methods, called modalities, such as ultrasound, functional electric stimulation for muscles, aquatic therapy, and manual therapy to promote proper movement and function.
Our occupational therapy practitioners utilize a holistic approach where the focus is on adapting the environment and/or task to each individual. In all our settings, the individual, family, and care team are an integral part of the plan. The holistic approach utilized by our team enables individuals of all ages to live life to the fullest along with promoting health.
We offer an evidence-based, person-centered, meaningful approach to meet our individual’s communication and life goals. We work with individuals, their families, and their support teams to help them re-learn the skills needed to succeed in daily life.
